Fashion week is officially in full swing! Yesterday I had an amazing opportunity to attend a runway show of Italian designer Chiara Boni at Gallery II at Spring Studios. She established her label Chiara Boni La Petite Robe in 2007.
It was unforgettable! The whole collection was inspired by flamenco rhythms, emotional, exciting, passionate, and sexy! Feminine and intriguing silhouettes, rich textures, vibrant patterns and colors! It was impossible to take eyes off bodycon dresses in a brand`s signature sustainable jersey fabric. Elegant velvet accessories – bow pumps, clutches, trendy pouch bags. Stunning headpieces need to be discussed separately such as fringe hats, and besides it is a traditional element, all kinds of fringes are very trendy, matador hats, headbands, veils.
And sure there is no flamenco dance without polka dots! It is sweet, and feminine, and, at the same time, it is rather reserved and modest, and it is relevant and stylish.
There are more trendy things – open shoulders, voluminous sleeves, flounces and frills. All these incredibly feminine, romantic and bright decorations go back to the historical costume of ancient times. It has a direct relation to the Spanish traditional costumes.
Beautiful models perfectly showed the spirit of the collection!
I was impressed by the beauty of Brazilian models. And a famous model Maria Borges was gorgeous as usual!
I must say that it is an amazing feeling to see a collection before everyone else, backstage atmosphere is always hectic, but magical and energizing!
Bravo Chiara Boni! Bellissimo!
